A tenant-friendly Heads of Agreement sets the scene for a lease that supports your business into the future. This checklist will help you identify what a tenant-friendly HOA looks like and enable you to assess the HOA you are considering.   In summary, the below checklist will help you negotiate a HOA that works for the business.  It also points to common mistakes made by tenants in relation to a HOA, to help you ensure you do not make the same mistakes in your current and /or future lease negotiations. For each statement select one of strongly agree / neutral / strongly disagree 3. If an answer is 'not applicable' then answer 'neutral' 4. Complete all 20 statements and click the submit button. 5. You will receive an email from LPC providing your overall score with a display of how 'tenant-friendly' your HOA is using the LPC barometer. 6. Use the results to assess how 'tenant-friendly' the 'HOA' terms are. 7. Use the results to guide your current and future 'HOA' neogitations.
